TES resources

Name of the resource: TES Resources
URL: www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resources/
Brief description: Interesting webpage for those who work with CLILL or cross-curricular contents.
What it is useful for: It is quite useful for English teachers who specially work with Science in CLILL methodology.
What you liked the most: Most of the resources use appropriate language and lessons are related to current events.
What you disliked the most: The webpage does not seem to offer a great variety of activities for adult ESL students.

  1. I like this web page. You can also adapt some of activities and use them in your English classes. For example, I found the game 'Who wants to be a millionaire?'. It was meant to use in a Biology class but I modified it to teach some grammar.

  2. I find this web very interesting. In fact, I use it a lot to find activities for my classes. Although, at the beginning you may feel a little bit lost due to its enormous amount of resources it is worth exploring it in depth.
Moreover, there are articles and videos to deal with behaviour problems and they've helped me a lot. Here is one you may find interesting if you've to deal with noisy classes or if you feel that when you give instructions students feel confused. http://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/Teachers-TV-Making-Yourself-Heard-6044178/s_cid/BEHAVIOUR_News_RES Probably, you have to sign in (for free!) in order to watch it.
